We start off with the Angels and Cardinals swapping players. The Angels have sent outfielders Peter Bourjos and Randal Grichuk for third baseman David Freese and reliever Fernando Salas. Bourjos, who has a ton of value on defense, is a far better real life player than fantasy one. But in ’11, Bourjos swiped 22 bases while slugging 12 homers and batting .271 in 147 games. If he can stay healthy, a big if, he’ll be in a lineup that traditionally has been very solid and should provide him good run scoring opportunities....

San Diego's Petco Park moved in from 402 feet to 390 in left-center field and from 402 to 391 in right-center. Although the distance remained the same down both foul lines, the fence in straightaway right field came in from 360 feet to 349. Also, the height of the fence from right field to right-center was lowered to match the rest of the outfield's sub-8-foot wall. The fences at Seattle's Safeco Field are anywhere from 4 to 17 feet closer around the outfield perimeter with the most noticeable difference coming in the left-center gap....

But the 26-year-old outfielder seems to be on everyone's sleeper list, and as nice as his stats are, his age, K-rate and relative lack of speed are minor red flags. Instead, I'm opening myself to much ridicule and flagellation by promoting Marco Estrada as Milwaukee's sleeper to watch for the second straight year. Well, if you consult our handy fantasy football cheat sheet, you’ll ultimately find that we have Foster ranked 37th among RBs. Esteemed Sporting News colleague Chris Littmann said “feh” to that ranking and made Foster the 28th RB off the board with the first pick of the seventh round in our recent Experts League draft. If Foster can beat his projected timetable for return, Littmann will have Peterson, whom he took with the first pick, and Foster as his starting RBs by Week 4....
