Perhaps the toughest player to evaluate right now is Dak Prescott, who hasn’t looked the same since losing Ezekiel Elliott to suspension and Tyron Smith to injury. We know Elliott will be out this week, and if Smith remains on the shelf, it’s easy to imagine the Chargers’ pass rush giving Prescott all kinds of trouble on Thanksgiving. Because of this, he’s fallen out of the QB1 tier, as have Matthew Stafford (vs. Vikings) and Derek Carr (vs. Broncos).
Andy Dalton (vs. Browns) and Tyrod Taylor (@ Chiefs) if he starts look like the best sleepers this week, but Eli Maning (@ Redskins), Joe Flacco (@ Texans), and whoever starts for the Bucs (@ Falcons) and Dolphins (@ Patriots) have good matchups, too. On a week with no byes, you probably shouldn’t need to dip that far down in the QB pool, but this is win-or-go-home time for a lot of fantasy owners, so do what you have to do.
