With only the Lions and Texans on bye, we don’t lose any key TEs, and favorable matchups for guys like Kyle Rudolph (vs. Ravens), Hunter Henry (vs. Broncos), Jack Doyle (vs. Jaguars), and Austin Hooper (@ Patriots) allow for some borderline starters to have higher upsides than usual. With Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Cameron Brate and Evan Engram establishing themselves as almost-every-week plays, TE is finally starting to round into shape … for one week, anyway.
Yes, chances are we won’t be so optimistic next week, so enjoy this set of rankings while you can and plan ahead if you still don’t feel completely comfortable with your starter (i.e. everyone who doesn’t own Gronk, Zach Ertz, or Kelce).
