If you’re really daring, you can take a shot with Case Keenum (vs. Browns) or Trevor Siemian (@ Chiefs), but at that point, you might as well take your chances with your normal starer. Derek Carr (@ Bills) and Alex Smith (vs. Broncos) are two regular starters who have less-than-promising outlooks, but at least both play defenses that had some trouble against QBs last week.
Overall, this looks like a tough week for QBs, so there’s definite value in having a “high-floor” signal-caller. Even our No. 2 guy, Cam Newton, comes with obvious worries, so you shouldn’t feel bad if your QB has a lackluster Week 8 projection.
