Fortunately, there are options – if you’re bold. The Giants (vs. Rams), Colts (@ Texans), and Eagles (vs. Broncos) have struggled against TEs most of the year, but all three play teams that utilize the position sparingly. You could do worse than taking a one-week flier on Tyler Higbee (or Gerald Everett), Ryan Griffin, or A.J. Derby, but chances are you’re not going to feel great about starting them. Even Nick O’Leary (vs. Jets) looks a lot riskier after his disappearing act in Week 8.

This is definitely a week where it pays to have one of the top four of five TEs. After that, it’s a gamble. The only good news is that more than half of your league is in the same boat, so you have a good chance of remaining competitive at the position.
