Will Alvin Kamara play Week 8?
Kamara was listed throughout last week with both ankle and knee injuries on the Saints’ injury report, and he was inactive for Sunday’s game against the Bears. In his absence, Latavius Murray had a big day as he played about 90 percent of running back snaps for New Orleans. The NFL Network report from Sunday was that Kamara hadn’t yet been ruled out for Week 8.
Seeing a report that someone “hasn’t yet been ruled out” for the following week suggests some doubt in Kamara’s Week 8 status. Murray becomes a must-start fantasy option against the Cardinals if Kamara is forced to miss another game.

James Conner injury update
The Conner news has been quiet since he exited Week 6 early because of a quad injury. The Steelers host the Dolphins on Monday Night Football, so their backed up schedule will keep us waiting even longer for Conner news.

In Week 6 relief of Conner, rookie Benny Snell Jr. rushed 17 times for 75 yards. He’d be a great start against the Dolphins if Conner is unable to go, and he’s a must-add handcuff on waivers this week for Conner owners since we’re still waiting on new information. Even if Conner is active, it’s worth remembering that Jaylen Samuels was seeing steady volume prior to his injury.
