Is Julian Edelman playing Thursday night?
UPDATE: Edelman is officially ACTIVE.
Edelman (chest) has been listed as questionable each of the last two weeks and played. He has been shown on the broadcast grabbing his rib area after various hits, so the injury seems legitimate, but it hasn’t knocked him out of a game since the original injury occurred.
In the last two weeks with the questionable tag, Edelman has 12 catches for 140 yards and a touchdown. In other words: He’s fine.
The Giants’ defense allows the second most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, so Edelman is in a great spot. With the Giants’ offense lacking every significant piece besides Golden Tate, the Patriots should possess the ball for a high majority of Thursday night’s game.
Edelman, assuming he’s not a surprise inactive, is a strong WR2 play in all fantasy leagues, and an absolute must-start in PPR leagues.

Josh Gordon is also listed as questionable. Read more about Gordon’s status here. Rex Burkhead is listed as questionable, too. He’d take some snaps away from Sony Michel in a great matchup for Michel if active. If Burkhead is out, Michel is a must-start with a ton of touchdown potential. (Updated: Burkhead is OUT. )
