While six teams (Browns, Cowboys, Broncos, Giants, Steelers, 49ers) return from a bye, four more teams (Ravens, Bengals, Patriots, Jets) are idle in Week 10. Cleary, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow are the two most notable QBs off in Week 10, forcing their respective owners to pivot to streamers. As we do each week, we’ve pinpointed a handful of viable streaming options in our waiver wire watchlist. Some of those QBs include Jimmy Garoppolo (vs. Chargers in Week 10), Marcus Mariota (@ Panthers), Andy Dalton (@ Steelers), P.J. Walker (vs. Falcons), and Jacoby Brissett (@ Dolphins).
Garoppolo doesn’t have a top-10 matchup, but he has one of the more talented supporting casts and is always capable of tossing a couple of TDs. Mariota’s running ability makes him a stable streamer, especially against a team he just lit up in Week 8. Walker is likely to air the ball out again a good deal against Atlanta’s bottom-ranked pass defense, while Brissett is coming off his best game of the season and faces a Dolphins defense that entered Week 9 allowing the seventh most fantasy points per game (FPPG) to QBs (20.2). Perhaps even more noteworthy is that Brissett has averaged 267.3 passing yards over his past three outings, so his floor is a little higher than you might think.

Going deeper, Sam Ehlinger (@ Raiders) and Kenny Pickett (vs. Saints) are also in good spots, but it’s tough to take a chance on either in anything but two-QB/superflex leagues. The Raiders have been at or near the top of the leaderboard for FPPG allowed to QBs, so Ehlinger has a decent floor when you factor in his rushing ability, but he’s far from a “sure thing.” The same goes for Pickett, who’s flashed upside but is also inconsistent.

Matthew Stafford (vs. Cardinals), Russell Wilson (@ Titans), and Tom Brady (vs. Seahawks) have disappointed mightily and are typically on the start ‘em, sit ‘em fence, but they should be in line for decent games this week. The Cardinals and Titans both sat in the top 10 in most FPPG allowed to QBs entering Week 9, and Seattle was allowing the 12th-most passing yards per game. It’s tough to stick with these veterans, but they all have solid weapons around them, so they should be able to produce given the matchups. The same is true for young guns Justin Fields (vs. Lions), who’s become a must-start thanks to his rushing ability, and Trevor Lawrence (@ Chiefs).
WEEK 10 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em
Conversely, a few QBs a bit lower in our rankings who might be better off on your bench this week are Kirk Cousins (@ Bills), Aaron Rodgers (vs. Cowboys), Derek Carr (vs. Colts), and Daniel Jones (vs. Texans). Cousins and Rodgers face defenses that have done a solid job of limiting QBs, as both the Bills and Cowboys rank in the top six in the fewest FPPG allowed, while Carr and Jones simply haven’t shown high floors or ceilings this year. They’re not the worst options, but you can likely do better with someone like Garoppolo, Mariota, or Dalton.
