Following Roderick Strong successfully retained the North American Championship against Keith Lee and Dominic Dijakovic, the Undisputed Era came out to celebrate before beating down the “Limitless” one.

This brings out Tommaso Ciampa who is on a mission to win back “goldie” from Adam Cole. Before a fight ensued, Johnny Gargano came out to help out his former DIY teammate, but the run ins didn’t stop there. Finn Bálor returned to Full Sail to seemingly side with Ciampa and Gargano, but instead attacked Mr. NXT.

Check out Bálor’s heel turn below.

Following the Pele Kick to Gargano, the UE would take out Ciampa by using the numbers game while Balor continued his beat down of Johnny “Wrestling.” The show ended with Bálor standing over a prone Gargano and pointing his fingers at the former NXT Champion like a gun - similar to what he did back in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Bálor even had a message for the NXT faithful in a form of a short tweet.

Finn returned to NXT on October 3, shocking the Full Sail crowd. He approached Adam Cole and said that he was NXT and that he is putting him on notice.

“I’m going to wrestle whenever, whoever I want,” Bálor told Newsweek exclusively after his NXT return. “That’s something I’ve been chasing for quite some time in my career. I don’t believe in any boundaries be it weight class, country, promotion… And I want to break those boundaries. I’m here at NXT to do that.”

Before Bálor came to NXT he spent eight years in Japan where he went by Prince Devitt, forming the Bullet Club faction in 2013 and acting as its first leader. It was then that he had a meaner streak and won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

NXT is live each Wednesday on USA at 8 p.m. EDT.
