Acciari’s first goal came 7:26 into the second period. With Florida already leading 4-1, Acciari picked up a pass from Vincent Trocheck and one-timed it past Stars goalie Ben Bishop from the slot.

He struck again just 32 seconds later, finishing off a tic-tac-toe passing play from Trocheck and Jonathan Huberdeau.

His final goal for the natural hatty came on a penalty shot at 11:25 of the second after he drew a call while the Panthers were short-handed. He pump-faked before sliding the puck five-hole past Anton Khudobin, who had come on in relief of Bishop, to make it 7-1, Florida.

The 28-year-old Johnston, R.I., native now has 11 goals and 13 points in 31 games this season after his back-to-back hat tricks.
