Austin Appleby, a graduate transfer from Purdue, will start against Tennessee. He was 2-for-4 passing for 30 yards Saturday after replacing Del Rio, who took a low hit in the third quarter that drew a personal foul penalty and sent Florida coach Jim McElwain into a rage.

Del Rio has completed 62 of 101 passes for 762 yards and six touchdowns with two interceptions.
