Texas news outlets reported Thursday that the father was shot and killed Wednesday evening when he and the man’s mother arrived at the house on Swiss Lane to pick up a vehicle. Houston police said that when they arrived at the house, four or five masked individuals got out of a car and started shooting their vehicle, according to news station KHOU. The man was injured and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, and the woman didn’t suffer any injuries....

John Moore, 56, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder on Monday. Just days earlier on May 6, officers were called to 1736 Edward Avenue in North Memphis, where they found an unresponsive male suffering from a gunshot wound, the Memphis Police Department said in a statement. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and later identified as a Raleigh Egypt High School student, according to Memphis Local 24....

Brandon Curtis, 35, died at the scene in the 10900 block of Spring Brook Pass in the Humble area after a fight broke out on Friday. “One adult party brought a teenager here to confront another group and it turned deadly,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez told reporters from the scene. Curtis went to the residence with his 15-year-old daughter “so she could fight other juveniles,” Gonzalez said. When the argument escalated, Curtis allegedly joined the fight and “struck one of the juveniles several times”....

Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), told CNN’s Jim Acosta that he did not believe people should expect a vaccine requirement on domestic flights.
