Jeff von Rotz, the now-former president of Valbella Gourmet Foods in Canmore, Canada, sent the email to coordinators of the town’s Pride events on Tuesday. The organizers had reached out to request sponsorship or food donations for a barbeque event during Pride, which is scheduled for September 15-18 in Canmore. Von Rotz’s response quickly lit the flame of a social media firestorm. “I’m sorry to say but you could not pay me to sponsor anything to do with child grooming tr**ny’s [sic],” it read....

Nineteen-year-old Kana Kardong, from Seattle, shared a screenshot of the image on Reddit where it has received more than 49,000 upvotes. Unfortunately, the dog—a pit bull/chihuahua mix named “Lady”—was attacked by the big cat as she attempted to protect the kids and later had to be put down due to the severity of her injuries, CBS4 reported. The Louisiana family—Karson and Holly Bethay and their two children—suffered multiple fractures and “extensive” lacerations to the face, scalp and head, according to the Boston Globe, which cited the lawsuit filed in a Massachusetts Superior Court on Thursday. The two-count lawsuit alleges that the contractor, KONE Inc., was “negligent and careless” in inspecting and maintaining the escalator, the Globe reports. It also asks the courts to temporarily bar the MBTA and KONE from repairing the damaged escalator or disposing of its parts, and calls for the preservation surveillance video and records related to the the incident, the newspaper reported....

Twitter user @elizfulop noted: “Today we got kicked off of a United flight going from Denver to Newark because our 2yo [two-year-old] would not ‘comply’ and keep her mask on,” in a post on December 12. “We just got kicked off the flight because our two-year-old would not put on a mask. I mean we tried… and we’re banned off United forever because a two-year-old would not put on a mask,” the user said in a video of the incident shared on Twitter....
