Tony Walker, from TK Offshore Fishing, published videos showing the carcasses of a swordfish and marlin that had been chomped on by a mystery animal. The bite marks covering the swordfish were particularly unusual, being almost perfectly circular with “very clean edges.” Walker, from New Zealand, has been a fisherman for over 35 years. He was in the Coral Sea off the coast of Australia when he pulled the swordfish and marlin on board....

All models of Rock ’n Play Sleepers, which were produced in their millions by Fisher-Price, are considered dangerous, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) says. The recall, affecting 4.7 million sleepers, was first announced on April 12, 2019, when the CPSC warned that “over 30 fatalities were reported to have occurred in the Rock ’n Play Sleepers after the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side....

Ricky Greenhowe, 47, caught the striking crustacean in waters near the city of Aberdeen on Thursday morning. Greenhowe was on his fishing boat, Skua, when he spotted the unusual lobster in a creel—a type of cage used to catch crustaceans—and reeled it to the surface. The 47-year-old has been fishing in the waters off Aberdeen since he was a teenager. “I spotted it straight away and put him in a box on his own,” Greenhowe told BBC Scotland....

The blaze began during the early morning hours at a farmhouse in rural Garden Prairie, Illinois, in Boone County, according to ABC 7 Chicago. The local sheriff’s office was alerted to the situation at around 2:20 p.m. Garden Prairie is located roughly 67 miles northwest of Chicago. The five siblings, ages 9, 12, 14, 21, and 25, were the only fatalities reported from the fire. The county medical examiner has not yet disclosed their identities to the public....

The Emirates flight from Milan’s Malpensa airport to New York’s JFK International landed safely after circling for 90 minutes in a Boeing 777-31H aircraft to burn off fuel. Emirates did not report any injuries during the July 13 flight, but photos taken on the ground showed the shattered cockpit windows, punched-in nose and hole-riddled fuselage.
