Our full free agent list features much more than just potential flex backs. Our full free agent list consists primarily of Week 7 streamer recommendations. Between injuries and a tough set of byes (Bills, Eagles, Rams, Vikings), more than a few fantasy owners will be hitting the wire in search of fill-ins. We only have a couple of worthwhile TE suggestions, but there are a host of QBs, WRs, and D/STs. All streamer recommendations can be found at the end of the list....

That said, in deeper leagues, your start ’em, sit ’em decisions (and our rankings) are definitely affected by matchups, projected target share, and injury concerns. We have around 80 pass-catchers ranked in our Week 1 list, which should satisfy those in deep leagues looking for the best boom-or-bust WR3 or flex. Without any regular-season data points, there’s a good deal of uncertainty pertaining to how a team’s target share will play out, but we’ve tried our best to give you a feel for how Week 1 could unfold....

The Playbook had a successful night on Friday as James Harden, LeBron James, Brandon Bass and Jason Smith all had big nights. While Klay Thompson wasn’t in the playbook, his 37 points in the third quarter was an awesome achievement and was so much fun to watch. Alright, time to focus on tonight’s five-game slate. The biggest news of the day is LaMarcus Aldridge announcing that he’s going to play despite tearing a ligament in his non-shooting hand....

In a surprise move by the Pirates in January, the team reached out and signed Korean star Jung-ho Kang to a four-year, $11 million contract that includes a $5.5 million club option for 2019. For the Pirates, the signing of Kang gives them a power-hitting infielder to add to an already solid lineup, including former MVP Andrew McCutchen and rising star Gregory Polanco. But will Kang’s big bat translate to the big leagues in Year 1?...

Since making his Serie A debut for hometown club Brescia at the age of just 16, Pirlo has wowed audiences all over the world. Football is so tribal, especially in Italy, that it is very rare to find a world-class player who transcends club colours and national boundaries. Along with the likes of Javier Zanetti, Paolo Maldini and Gianluigi Buffon, Pirlo is adored by almost everyone. He is adored because he is so unique....

Most Japanese once would have thought Miyazawa a kook. Fifty years ago, Japanese were fleeing the farm to find work in cities–and leaving behind their dark and drafty minka quite happily. The Sacramento Bee reported about the United Farm Workers (UFW) protest march Wednesday evening, shortly after the union made its announcement. Union members were already marching toward Sacramento in the hope of meeting with Newsom to discuss the piece of legislation awaiting his signature when Newsom’s office announced he had vetoed it. Following news of the veto, the union said its members would instead march toward the famed restaurant in Napa County, where Newsom is known to have dined in the past....

I’m not comparing Jon Rahm to Tiger Woods or his eight wins at Torrey Pines. This comparison concerns the oddsmakers and their fear of “Rahmbo” at a course he performs very well on. Rahm has two wins in his last two starts, and he’s a combined 54 under par in those events. He has nine career wins on the PGA Tour, and two significant ones have come at Torrey: his first tour victory (Famers 2017) and first major championship (US Open 2021)....

Jeffries has cracked one of the toughest codes in retailing: how to sell consistently to the teenage and college set, that maddeningly fickle bunch with tremendous disposable income. His mantra: keep an obsessive focus on the 18- to 22-year-old customers, and reflect and shape their latest tastes with imagery of buff models having too good a time. A&F also draws in both younger and older shoppers yearning to turn the clock forward or back....

The wagging finger is a commonly used insult in Australia, often leveled at drivers of monster SUVs or expensive sports cars to suggest their vehicles are compensating for a deficiency elsewhere. Still, bruising male egos is not often used as a way of preventing road accidents. But in the land Down Under, authorities have decided the most effective way to change men is to challenge their masculinity. Instead of employing the traditional shock tactics that bombard viewers with gruesome images of dead and maimed, authorities are using shame as their latest weapon in the battle against road deaths....

Following the tragic mass shooting at a Florida concert in the early morning hours on Sunday that killed two and injured 21 others, the Miami-Dade Police Department organized a public press conference calling on the public for help identifying the gunmen. As Miami-Dade Police Director Alfredo “Freddy” Ramirez spoke at the podium regarding the mass shooting, a distraught man approached him and turned to the audience and the camera admonishing the actions of the gunman who he accused of fatally shooting his son....

The ex-boyfriend, who has a restraining order against him, followed the man’s daughter in a car to her parents’ home on the 3200 block of Airport Boulevard in southeast Houston. The daughter was staying with her parents after telling her mother that she feared her ex-boyfriend, who previously assaulted the daughter, was looking for her despite the protective order, according to Lt. R. Willkens of the Houston Police Department....

The president shared several posts touting the efficacy of the drug in treating COVID-19, despite this having been disputed and the safety of its use questioned. A since deleted video shared by Trump on Twitter showed a woman stating: “This virus has a cure, it’s called hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and Zithromax. You don’t need masks, there is a cure.” Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), responding to the posts from Trump promoting the drug said it had not been proven to be an effective treatment to coronavirus patients....

The Spanish Flu—caused by an unusually deadly strain of influenza—was the most severe pandemic in modern history, infecting an estimated 500 million people, which amounted to about a third of the world’s population at the time. “If you look at the magnitude of the 1918 pandemic where anywhere from 50 to 75 to 100 million people globally died, that was the mother of all pandemics and truly historic. I hope we don’t even approach that with [COVID-19] but it does have the makings of, the possibility of approaching that in seriousness,” Fauci, who heads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID,) said during a Georgetown University Global Health Initiative webinar, according to CNN....

In an interview on Friday, PBS NewsHour host Judy Woodruff asked Fauci about the health of his relationship with the White House, amid reports that it is attempting to undermine him. On Wednesday, White House trade adviser Peter Navvaro wrote an op-ed in USA Today titled “Anthony Fauci has been wrong about everything I have interacted with him on.” The White House later tried to distance itself from the piece....

In an interview with the Reuters news agency on Wednesday, White House correspondent Jeff Mason asked Fauci if he thought the pandemic was under control. The question came after President Donald Trump told Axios on Monday he thought the pandemic was “under control as much as you can control it” in the U.S. In the past week, the U.S. has averaged 56,966 cases per day, a decrease of 14 percent from two weeks prior, according to The New York Times....
