This week’s watch list is probably proof that not enough of you are actually reading each week’s watch list. Or at least that you don’t think it works. But last week, we told you to add Ronald Jones, and now he was a popular waiver claim. We tried to get you to grab O.J. Howard before a matchup with the Cardinals, yet his ownership declined even ahead of a top-10 TE week for him....

Picking up potential streamers to play further down the line is always a risky practice. Sometimes, you add players and watch them get hurt or benched. Other times, the player you dropped ends up having a big game and becomes a hot waiver wire pickup the following week. Of course, when you do get it right and add a piece without using a waiver claim or FAAB money, that can be enough to give your team the edge and put you over the top....

Four more teams are on bye in Week 7, and unlike Week 6, it will have a much more profound effect on the fantasy landscape. Three of the four teams on bye (Bills, Eagles, Vikings) currently sit in first place in their respective divisions, and their teams are littered with weekly fantasy starters and studs. Making the most of every roster spot is key to fantasy success. Maybe you just freed up a spot because one of your players became IR-eligible; maybe you recently dropped a couple of disappointing performers....

Our full free agent list has a little something for everyone, from immediate starters at RB and WR, bench depth at both positions, a few streaming TE and D/ST options, and some key handcuffs who were pressed into duty for short spells this past week. You have space, it never hurts to stash one just in case. There aren’t a ton of “game-changers” like last week on our full free agent list, but there are some interesting TE and D/ST streamers, as well as a few bench RB and WR options who could come in handy if you find yourself in a late-week bind like Odell Beckham Jr. owners were in this week. The potential defense pickups are especially important, as this isn’t a particularly strong week at the position....

Some fantasy football owners think quarterback is the deepest position. While that may be true in terms of supply and demand – assuming you only start one QB – wide receiver is the deepest position in terms of sheer volume. Think of the WR rankings below in terms of tiers in your starting lineup. There are at least 10-12 legit WR1s heading into 2015, i.e. one per team in most fantasy leagues....

Forte was diagnosed with torn meniscus in his right knee, and while the veteran RB believes he can play through it, that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll suit up this Saturday against the Dolphins....

The “key bye” we’re referring to is fantasy’s top RB, Jonathan Taylor. He’ll be out this week along with Myles Gaskin, New England’s duo of Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson, and Philadelphia’s mess of a committee. Overall, it’s not a terrible week for RB byes, but there’s never a good time to lose a guy like Taylor, especially if you need to survive and advance. WEEK 14 STANDARD RANKINGS:Quarterback | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker...

There were only two notable in-game RB injuries this week (that we know of), as Damien Harris (knee) and James Conner (ankle) both exited early. That paves the way for Rhamondre Stevenson (vs. Ravens in Week 3) and either Darrel Williams or Eno Benjamin (vs. Rams) to have more value this coming week, but obviously we’ll have to wait and see on both situations. Stevenson would be a must-start if Harris is out, while the Cardinals’ duo would both be risky flexes....

One of the reasons we can’t call TE “deep” just yet is because Kyle Pitts (vs. Browns in Week 4) hasn’t fully made that Year 2 leap. He finally got going last week, but guys like Dallas Goedert (vs. Jaguars) and Zach Ertz (@ Panthers) might be just as good in PPR formats. Goedert is dealing with a shin injury, though, which has his availability for Week 4 in question....

Who’s Not: After an impressive rookie season, Yoenis Cespedes came back down to Earth. Don’t let that scare you too far away though. Cespedes showed signs late in the year of getting back on track. Who’s Hurt: Josh Reddick was hampered by a wrist injury in 2013 — perhaps explaining his dreadful numbers — and underwent successful surgery to fix the issue. He’ll be worth a flyer late in drafts this spring....
