The Eagles (vs. Giants), Chargers (@ Texans), Bengals (vs. Ravens), 49ers (@ Titans), Saints (vs. Dolphins), and Seahawks (vs. Bears) are all owned in about 50 percent of leagues and have solid matchups this week. The Saints are the riskiest, but they always have more upside at home. Even the consistently stellar Colts (@ Cardinals) aren’t widely owned, and despite a tough matchup, they’ve proven they can produce in any matchup....

Last week, despite terrific recent performances, both Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling were dropped from the starting line up against Burnley. Conventional wisdom said to respond to that by bringing in Aguero… who then played 120 minutes midweek against Wolves in the Carabao Cup. That now throws the Argentine’s chances of starting on Saturday into doubt despite his recent spike in ownership. So what’s the answer here? It would be lovely if we could all avoid these frustrating rotation issues but, unfortunately, Manchester City are the best team in the Premier League....

Lesser-known commodities tend to come with lower prices and ownership which offers a huge advantage to start the year. Guys like Montgomery are almost impossible to incorporate into our weekly rankings. Sure, there’s a lot of upside there, but we really know very little about him or the Packers’ game plan even after seeing him play last week. He could just as easily put up two points as he could 15. He’s a “start ’em, sit ’em” nightmare, and the only real good news in this scenario is that the Packers play on Thursday, making TyMo ineligible for daily fantasy football lineup picks for most contests....

Our rankings, which will be updated until kickoff on Sunday, are full of tough calls, especially on committee backfields (Darren Sproles vs. Ryan Mathews? Peyton Barber vs. Antone Smith? etc.) and QBs/WRs with tough matchups (mainly Raiders and Lions). Fortunately, thanks to favorable matchups, there are some “easy” calls at TE and D/ST, though they feature players that most owners won’t feel comfortable using. Like we said last week, we wouldn’t blame you if you just say “whatever”, throw down some daily fantasy football picks, and get ready for Week 10....
