Footage purporting to show him behind the counter at a branch of the coffee and pastry chain highlights the startling disparity. The video begins with a cup, full to the brim with iced coffee, alongside an empty container or the same size. Using a spoon, the TikToker begins pouring the full drink into the empty cup, using the utensil to stop any ice from moving into the second container....

Thomas Brown of Wichita Falls, Texas, was arrested on Thursday and faces a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KAUZ-TV. Police received multiple calls about him following an alleged confrontation with a group of teen girls. Prior to the incident, Brown’s daughter reportedly told him that she had recently been bullied by a group of girls at Wichita Falls High School....

While speaking with KTRK-TV in Houston, Mark Gagnier, explained that when he entered his daughter’s apartment, he discovered his daughter’s murderer as well as writings on her walls. KTRK-TV reported the writings on Gagnier’s walls were done with lipstick or pens and included apologies and confessions. The murderer, who was identified as 34-year-old Kevin Accorto, also professed his love for Gagnier in the messages, KTRK-TV reported. “I could look in the room and there’s writings all over the wall,” Gagnier’s father told KTRK-TV....

Trump attempted to downplay the Covid-19 threat in the fall and winter during today’s White House coronavirus press conference. The president expressed confidence that a second wave of the novel disease “might not happen.” His remarks came amid a heated discussion with reporters over whether a recent Washington Post headline accurately reflects the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) advice that another wave of Covid-19 could come amid flu season....

Favre told ESPN.com on October 21 that he had planned to have fellow Packers quarterback legend Bart Starr as part of the ceremony at the prime-time game against the archrival Bears, but because of Starr’s recent health problems, he changed his mind. Remdesivir has been a successful treatment option for adults and children over the age of 12 since its initial emergency use authorization (EUA) in October 2020. Now, the treatment’s use for children has been granted full FDA approval. It’s available for children and infants over 28 days old and weighing at least 7 pounds who test positive for COVID-19, and are hospitalized or at high risk for severe illness....

The drug is the first in its class—called aryl hydrocarbon receptor agonists—and can be used in sensitive areas like the face, neck, and groin. “As the first and only approved drug in its class in the U.S., the FDA’s approval of Vtama cream provides an effective new non-steroidal treatment option for millions of adults living with plaque psoriasis,” Todd Zavodnick, chief executive officer of Dermavant Sciences, which manufactures the drug, said in a statement....

Previously, the FDA had granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for remdesivir, not full approval. The first EUA, issued on May 1, said remdesivir could be used in hospitalized patients with severe COVID-19. The EUA was reissued on August 28, expanding use to hospitalized adults and children with confirmed or suspected cases COVID-19, irrespective of their severity of disease. Although the drug is now approved, the approval does not extend to all groups....

Now as China has a resurgence of COVID infecting its population, the FDA advises consumers to not use 378 different hand sanitizers. Most sanitizers were produced in Mexico while others were produced in the United States, China and many countries around the world. There are different reasons hand sanitizers are recalled, including: Containing methanol, 1-propanol, benzene, acetaldehyde, or acetal; is labeled to contain methanol; it’s been found to have microbial contamination; it’s being recalled by the manufacturer or distributor....

Central bank money is money that is the central bank’s responsibility. However, CBDC would be the Fed’s responsibility, compared to current digital money, which is the liability of a commercial bank. The 40-page report says it is “the first step” in creating a discussion with the public and key stakeholders about the potential introduction of a CBDC....
