The Gainesville Sun reported that a small red pickup truck spun counterclockwise into the infield, where it hit 49-year-old Buddy Jack Howell. Paramedics rushed to the scene on Sunday afternoon in Bronson, Florida, but Howell was pronounced dead a short time later at a Gainesville hospital, according to Levy County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt.
