Michael Dublin, 28, was arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse following a May incident in the Tangelo Park area of Orlando, Florida. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Dublin pinned his daughter to the ground and tried to make her drink bleach from a water bottle. The suspect allegedly put flavoring in the bleach before trying to force her to drink it. Bodycam footage released by the department shows Dublin calmly speaking to officers as they approach him, while people can be heard screaming in the background....

Convicted felon Matthew Lee Noffsinger Jr., of Hudson, shot himself in the leg with a .22-caliber handgun and was later found to be illegally possessing four credit cards that were not his own, according to an arrest report released by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office (PSO) yesterday. The suspect was detained by deputies December 14 and transported to Land O’ Lakes Detention Centre on a $10,150 bond, as reported by WFST....

Sedrick Woffard, 36, was charged with battery after lashing out at another man living at the assisted living facility in Hudson where he resides, according to CBS12 Florida. The man from Tampa, Florida, has been jailed at the Land O Lakes Detention Center in Pasco County following his arrest on Monday night. An arrest report posted online by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office puts the bail bond for Woffard’s release at $250....

Yosmel Galan, 32, reportedly went to the business next door to his workplace and confronted a man about getting his car dirty. He demanded the man clean it and reportedly left when the man refused. According to police, Galan returned 30 minutes later with a machete and entered the business through a door that is normally only open to employees. Once inside the premises, Galan attacked two people who had their backs turned to him....

Jonathan Babij, 37, of Ocala city, was detained by deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office on February 27 and hit with multiple felony charges related to incidents that took place during 2019. In a media release, police confirmed the suspect has a dozen prior theft convictions. Inmate records posted online suggested that Babij has since posted the required $14,000 bond. His latest arrest was first reported by local media outlet WGFL....

The man, Dennis Davis, said he believes Laundrie asked him for directions on a deserted road near the trail, the New York Post reported. “There is no doubt in my mind I spoke to Brian Laundrie—none whatsoever,” the 53-year-old engineer told the Post. Petito was found dead in Wyoming two weeks ago, and law enforcement officials have been searching for Laundrie since his family reported him missing on September 17....

Kari Turner, a 40-year-old parent, was arrested and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, trespassing, and disorderly conduct, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Turner’s daughter shared footage of Kari’s arrest on social media. School board chairwoman Carol Cook promised to release a more detailed report about Turner’s arrest in the interest of full transparency. On the same night, another parent, Debra Williams, told the Times that an officer chased her out of the building while holding up handcuffs in a threatening manner....

Odalis Lopez, 56, was booked into the Miami-Dade County jail last Friday on multiple charges, including theft from an elderly person and financial exploitation. Her victims were identified as Holocaust survivor Rella Herman, 93, and her 91-year-old husband Leonard Herman. Micha Herman, the couple’s grandson, said the caretaker had been taking advantage of his relative’s bank accounts as far back as 2011. He alleged the thefts had escalated four years ago when Lopez exploited the death of Rella Herman’s only son, who died from cancer....

Earlier this month, parents of students who attend Centner Academy in Miami received a letter from the school announcing the policy. It urged them to hold off until the summer to get their children vaccinated or the student would be required to stay home for 30 days after each dose. But this past Friday, the school appeared to back off on the policy. The school said in a letter obtained by South Florida’s WPLG-TV that the plan was not implemented and that the school will not be pursuing the policy....
