Naples police were alerted to a disturbance between a bride and groom at the Hilton Hotel at about 12:26 a.m. on Sunday, according to a police report sent to Newsweek. The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) claims on its website that third-party contractors are not considered “staff” members, and that the agency is not obligated to report how many employees have coronavirus. However, U.S. Attorney General Magistrate Judge Jonathan Goodman said the information must be released by Friday for the three detention centers in South Florida. “To the contrary, it is designed to encompass anyone and everyone who works at the three facilities — including, by way of example, employees of third party contractors who provide services and personnel to the detention centers,” he said....

Danique Rosius, 23, was released from prison on Tuesday after serving a sentence for an armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. But that same day, a deputy with the sheriff’s office conducted a traffic stop on a car Rosius was a passenger in. The car was being driven by Rosius’s twin sister Monique Rosius, The sheriff’s office said the deputy pulled the vehicle over on Hopson Road in Frostproof, Florida, because they noticed Danique Rosius was holding two unsecured toddlers in his lap while the vehicle was moving....

The incident occurred in Broward County at around 1 a.m. Deputies from the Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) and personnel with local fire and rescue responded to the scene after receiving reports of a fireworks-related accident in which a man’s hand was blown off. However, by the time first responders arrived, the man, whose name has not been publicly disclosed, had already been transported to a nearby hospital. BSO spokesman Carey Codd told the Miami Herald that personnel were able to retrieve the man’s hand and bring it to the hospital where he was receiving treatment....

Randall Williams, 59, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony criminal mischief, along with additional misdemeanor counts of resisting an officer and prowling. According to local law, first degree criminal mischief charges may earn the convicted up to one year in jail, a $1,000 fine or both. Over 140 scooters have been tampered with since April in the general area—all with cut brake lines, and all within the 12000 block of East Broward Boulevard....
