Admittedly, it’s tough to drop players that you’re confident in, and at this point in the season, you may have a lot of those. Still, it’s important to project into the future. So, if you’re still holding onto a player that rarely starts and is dealing with an injury, like Christian Kirk, it could make sense to drop them to pick up a guy like Jeff Wilson Jr., who could emerge as the new backfield leader for the 49ers....

Fortunately, our full free agent list is packed with potential one-week streamers, particularly at TE and D/ST (which can be found at the end of this list). The defense pickings are slim, but we have a few boom-or-bust plays that could come through. As far as QBs, Manning and Dak Prescott (@ ATL) are really the only options, but given their matchups, they might be better than your usual starting quarterback this week....

Of course, it’s our job to put these players in order based on projected production, so we’re not going to complain, but this has the makings of a “quietly” tough week, especially if the Thursday game between the Saints and Panthers isn’t a high-scoring shootout like many expect. There will likely be less demand than usual for TE and D/ST streamers, but we still have several options in our full waiver list . We’re at that point in the season where all that matters is winning, so if there’s someone on the wire with a better matchup in a given week, don’t be afraid to make a move....
