The standard version of the game is priced at $59.99, while the Ronaldo edition is more expensive at $79.99. The Icon Edition, which costs $99.99, appears to currently only be available in digital form. The other two editions, though, are now being readied for sale in stores. The company took the step of removing the Russian national football team and all Russian clubs from FIFA 22. “EA Sports has initiated processes to remove the Russian national team and all Russian clubs from EA Sports FIFA products including: FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile and FIFA Online,” read the statement. The move follows the decision by FIFA and UEFA to ban Russia’s national team and clubs from their competitions. UEFA also stripped Saint Petersburg of the 2022 UEFA Champions League final, moving it to the Stade de France, north of Paris....

Fans will be clamoring to get a copy of the newest version of the game, which will feature improved graphics and movements, additional gameplay modes, updated rosters, and added features. This year’s edition of the world’s most popular football video game will also be the last in its current iteration, with EA Sports and FIFA set to end their longtime partnership and a new brand to be introduced next time....

FIFA has fined Croatia the equivalent of $150,000 for incidents in friendly matches against Israel and Hungary last month. It has also ordered it to play forthcoming games with Turkey and Finland behind closed doors. The decision comes after Croatia had previously been punished by both FIFA and UEFA.
