According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, Dusty Mobley, 40, was arrested on Saturday after a bizarre police chase. Deputies added that this arrest came just seven months after Mobley had jumped into a swamp to escape deputies who were looking to serve warrants on him. The sheriff’s department said deputies went to a home at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday on Pasco Broxson Circle in Holt, Florida to arrest Mobley on an outstanding warrant....

According to a report by Smoking Gun, who also published the arrest affidavit, Joseph Zak, 37, was pulled over in his sedan in Fort Pierce, Florida earlier in November. Initially, he caught the attention of the police after he failed to yield at a stop sign. However, the officer noticed that Zak making “furtive movements” and leaning over towards the centre console as attempting to discard an item. Once he stopped and the police approached the vehicle, they observed that the driver was concealing a Budwiser container in the driver door....

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) told local media deputies had responded to calls about violent clashes in front of a Circle K convenience store in Citrus Avenue, Crystal River, on Sunday. Upon arrival, the investigators heard gunshots and found a number of fights had broken out between 60 and 80 people. Multiple physical altercations were ongoing as deputies attempted to gain control of the situation, identify potential victims, and locate possible suspects, said the sheriff’s office in a media statement....

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office estimated that as many as 3,000 people were in attendance at the event on Saturday, May 16 which spread across several locations in DeLand. Police said that while the event was uneventful during the day, it escalated into violence at night, resulting in at least two officers being injured and several people arrested. Police have been searching for Patrick Rene McDowell, 35, since Friday after he allegedly shot 29-year-old Nassau County deputy Joshua Moyers in the face and back during a traffic stop before driving away. Laronda Pressley, 28, was arrested Tuesday by officers from the Winter Garden Police Department.
