Officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of East 17th Street in the Flatbush neighborhood at around 10.45 p.m. after receiving a 911 call about a child who was attacked by a dog, a spokesperson for the New York Police Department told Newsweek. Officers arrived at the scene to find the 19-month-old boy “heavily bleeding” after sustaining bite wounds to the neck and shoulder. The bodies of Elaine Fizer, 57, and 13-year-old Daunya Fields were found in their home on the 18000 block of Prevost Street in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday afternoon.
